From the town centre follow A707 (signposted Moffat, Peebles)
Turn Left onto the A708 just beyond the Rugby Club
Continue along this road, past the Waterwheel Café
About 500 yards on there is a sign for Philiphaugh Gardens and Thirladean
Turn Right here and follow road up to the fork
Take the right fork to the top of the hill.
You should, by now, be able to see the shooting field.
Look for the horse boxes up in the field below the trees.
